Still can't get over the Valentines' sweetness and feels? Kim Is Hungry Cakes would be just the right place! 

Kim Is Hungry Cakes + Cafe is a newly opened cafe located at 2nd floor Paulina Bldg. M. Diaz corner A. Ibanez St. Angono, Rizal. 

They open from Tuesdays to Sundays as you can see in their cafe schedule plus you can also follow them in Facebook and Instagram so you are always updated even if you're on the go.

It is surely a craving-to-go-place not only for youngsters but also for those who are young-at-heart. 

They serve affordable freshly baked pastries (but mostly cupcakes and cakes), cookies, sandwiches, milkshakes etc. everyday. You can even order early for a pick-up transaction during the day.

 But if you're in to unwind and relax after a day's work, you can stay at the cafe and enjoy their nice ambiance and munch in their yummy goodies. 

For those of you who feel that 'love is still in the air' even though Valentines' day is over and yet want to treat a special someone close to your heart, it's not too late to celebrate! 

Continue to spread the love everyday with not just your boyfriends and girlfriends but with your family and friends too. 

When we visited yesterday, they still serve yummy freshly baked valentine treats like red velvet, chocolate chip kitkat etc. flavored cupcakes and even heart-shaped cookie cakes! 

As they always say, the best way to a man/woman's heart is through his/her stomach. 

So for me and my co-blogger/guy best friend, it surely is a place nearby for us to unwind, converse and bond not just during this love month but whenever we wish to visit.  

Don't just snap shots of the yummy goodies during your whole stay but try to put aside your smartphones and converse with your pals. Nothing can ever replace the moments-of-conversation-and-interaction that you all shared. 

GAVIN'S

Feelin' like foodtrippin'? Then try out Gavin's! 

Gavin's Flame Grilled Burger, Pasta and Wings is a sure barkada hang-out to all youngsters and young at heart. It is located at San Jose St. Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo Rizal. 

When our barkada  tried out Gavin's, their signage is quite visible but not that much noticeable. We entered the small cafe right away, it still has a lot to improve in its facilities but the food was absolutely a delight! 

Their burger patties are grilled in just the right way, even their burger buns are heated to have a nice grill flavor. They also have pastas, but our ultimate favorite is their creamy carbonara which just the right amount of saltiness and creaminess with crispy bacon bits on the top.   

They even have an ultimate burger challenge where you only have 5 mins to finish the whole burger that is composed of three layers of 1/3 pound pure beef patties and lots of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes without drinking fluids to help you digest the food easily. 

ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? We even tried the challenge for fun and new experience but unfortunately, MAN was defeated and FOOD won. But next time, we will avenge for the title and defeat food once and for all!

What better way to start your day than not a cup of coffee, but a cup of hot 'Taho'!

It has always been an all-time Filipino favorite and tradition to drink taho early in the morning because it is a healthy energy boost.

When you hear a man carrying a 'yolk' with two barrels at the side that is shouting "Taho! Taho!". Then everyone in the village will know that the hot taho is here.

This fantastic food that most Filipinos love is made of Soya beans, sago or tapioca balls and sweet syrup. Hmmm! What a sweet treat it is!

Once it's still nice and hot, it surely is a warm morning treat to your empty stomach. Yum!

TRIVIA: In the City of Pines in the Philippines, Bagiuo City, they have strawberry flavored taho which is composed of freshly picked strawberries that is surely new to your taste! So is you're in a trip to Baguio City, don't forget to stop by and taste their strawberry taho.
