First stop! TOASTED SIOPAO!
Hey foodies! We behold you the famous toasted siopao of the Philippines. Yes, you heard it. It's toasted not fried. As most Filipinos know, a common siopao is steamed with a fluffy white finish and oozing beef asado. But in this case, its toasted on the outside but chewy and steaming hot on the inside. Yum!
Early in the morning, we rode the jeep and went to Camsur's Toasted Siopao located at Angono, Rizal; the art capital of the Philippines where famous artists came from.

We bought 2 pieces of toasted siopao costing P9.00 each. It was still fresh and hot straight from the oven. That's why you can smell the aroma even if it's still inside the paper bag.
The texture of the siopao is baked into perfection and the stuffed pork 'asado' inside is still hot and yummy. What more if you taste it yourself?
It is not only for 'merienda' (Filipino word for afternoon snack), you can also eat it in breakfast, lunch and dinner or whenever you want it to. It would be a yummy 'pasalubong' (treat) for your love ones at home or a gift for a special someone close to your heart.
Toasted Siopao is not only found in Angono Rizal,in fact there are other bakeries that caters it in the country but the nearest in our 'foodtrip' is located in the city of Antipolo.
'Bicol's Best Toasted Siopao' is an all time favorite bakery that not only has great quality and taste but is also affordable in price. Two thumbs-up! They have two branches in Antipolo City, the first one is going through the town proper and the other one is just a drive-thru away in the highway. Other branches of 3N bakery are in Caloocan City, Grace Park, Mabini Street, Sta. Ana, Sampaloc, Alabang, Bayanan, Putatan, BF Homes, Pasig, San Joaquin, Cubao, Kamuning, Panay Avenue and Valenzuela.
We prefer the toasted siopao here because they are more tastier, more jucy, more aromatic than the first one we presented. So what are you waiting for foodies? Go on, try it for yourself and decide what's delicious to your taste buds.
